Regional Investor Awareness Seminar in Coimbatore Building Knowledge.

Coimbatore, November 27, 2025: BSE
Investors Protection Fund (IPF), hosted a Regional Seminar for Investor
Awareness (RISA) in Coimbatore today, bringing together investors, market
participants and industry leaders for an engaging and informative session. The
seminar aimed to educate investors on financial markets, cyber safety and
retirement planning, reinforcing the importance of informed decision-making in
today’s dynamic financial landscape.
The event was graced by the
Hon’ble Chairman of SEBI, Shri Tuhin Kanta Pandey, who addressed the
audience on the importance of informed investing, robust regulations and
India’s rapidly evolving capital market landscape. Shri Sundararaman
Ramamurthy, MD & CEO, BSE, delivered the inaugural address, highlighting
the company’s continued commitment to enhancing investor education and market
accessibility.
The seminar also featured
expert-led sessions, including a talk on cyber safety by an industry expert and
a session on retirement planning by Shri K. Annamalai, Founding Partner ACS
Pvt. Ltd., a SEBI empanelled institutional SMART Trainer.
The event saw active
participation from investors with nearly 400 participants from Coimbatore and
nearby areas. The discussions collectively underscored the need for financial
awareness, digital vigilance and long-term planning, reinforcing BSE’s mission
to empower investors across the country.
Speaking at the event, Hon’ble
SEBI Chairman, Shri Tuhin Kanta Pandey said, “India’s capital markets
are expanding at an unprecedented pace and with this growth comes a greater
responsibility to ensure that every investor is informed, empowered and
protected. Investor awareness is the foundation of a resilient market ecosystem
and initiatives like Investor awareness programmes and regional investor
