The Number of Smokers is Declining In India..!

The number of smokers is declining, finds a WHO report. A Lancet study says the number of men smoking tobacco products has fallen in 125 countries between 2000 and 2010, and in 156 countries for women.


All this is the result of global fight against tobacco use. But, clearly, more needs to be done. Still, nearly six million people die each year because of tobacco; and a tenth of these fatalities are because of exposure to second-hand smoke.
