1. Timing the market is very tough. Almost impossible even for the experts.
2. Even if the fund manager times the top perfectly, they remain out of the market for long time & buy back at wrong time. Timing requires to get 2 decisions (buy & sell) right.
3. Even if Fund manager tells you to exit at the top, investor won't listen due to greediness & even if Fund manager tells to invest at the bottom, investor won't listen due to fear.
4. Best way to tackle is "Buy Right & Hold on". Time in the market is more important.
5. Market won't crash 40-50% unless it delivered 300-400% returns prior to that.
