Weeklong ‘Happiness’ Art Exhibition of Tarika Ram launched
30 Art Works to
be showcased at Kalpa Druma till Sept 5, 2025

Chennai
August 30, 2025: The solo art exhibition of 18year old Tarika Ram was inaugurated
on Saturday evening by Kavitha Dutt, Joint MD, KCP at Kalpa Druma, Cathedral
Road. The weeklong exhibition showcasing 30 artworks centred on the concept of happiness
will be open to visitors between 10am and 6pm till September 5.
Speaking
at the inauguration, Srivats Ram, MD, Wheels India and father of Tarika said “This
is a big leap of faith for Tarika moving away from her comfort zone of
paintings in her three previous solo exhibitions on Thirukkural to Tapestry and
Textile in this exhibition based on the theme of happiness.”
Speaking
about the art work, Chief Guest Kavitha Dutt said, “ Through Tarika’s art
works, we are not only invited to look for happiness but also to reflect on its
meaning to see it, feel it and even better understand it. Tarika at just 18 has
demonstrated a maturity and depth of thought that’s truly remarkable. Her work
is a wonderful confluence of art, psychology, philosophy and personal
reflection.”
Tarika’s
art teacher Diana Shatish said that each of the 30 art works tell a story of
positivity, happiness and relationships.
