Latest AMFI data shows that the Inidian mutual fund
industry received 18,264 complaints from investors in 2024-25(FY25).
Investor complaints include complaints about
1 Delay in allotment of units,
2 Data correction in investor
details,
3 Non-updation of change in
address,
4 PAN,
5 Bank details,
6 Interest on delayed payment of
redemption,
7 Non-receipt of dividend etc.
Overall, the MF industry has 23.24 crore folios as
of March 2025, making the number of complaints about 0.008% of the total
folios.
