LIC of
India sells 5.88 lakh policies in a single day: Guinness World Record..!
The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC of
India) has made a Guinness World Record for selling the highest number of life
insurance policies in the span of 24 hours.
"Mad Million Day'
This was achieved on January 20, 2025, after LIC
encouraged every agent to sell one policy during an initiative called "Mad Million Day'.
This day saw 4.52 lakh insurance agents sell 5.88
lakh policies across India.
Mr. Siddhanta Mohanty, MD and CEO
of LIC of India,
spearheaded this initiative with agency force. He appealed to every agent to
sell at least one policy on January 20, 2025.
Mr. Mohanty thanked all our esteemed customers,
agents and employees for making “Mad Million Day” historic as their incredible
performance of procuring record number of policies on a single day has now been
recognized and has entered Guinness World Records
