Overwhelming response to maiden
property show of extended metro
Kanavu Illam 2014 made its debut in greater Chennai during
March 2014. A Property Expo
brand of B&C Expo, a name synonymous with property
expos, Kanavu Illam happened on March 22-23 at NPR Thirumana Mandapam, GST Road, Opposite EB, Nandivaram, Guduvanchery, Chennai.

The fair was presided over and inaugurated by Er R. Prakash,
the chairman of Region I of FACEAT&P (Federation of All Civil Engineers Associations of TamilNadu &
Puducherry). Er K Nachiappan, president of CHECEA (Chennai Civil Engineers Association) was the chief guest of
the function convened by Dr KR Thooyavan, Editor in Chief of Our Building &
Construction.
Over 55 participants occupied stalls put up in over 800
square meter of space and showcased over 200 projects. The show, timed suitably
between 10 am and 8 pm, attracted
very good response on both the days with quality visitors
exceeding 1300 assembling at the venue.

Ongoing projects of apartments, independent homes, villas
and plots, home loans, a range of building products, etc. of leading builders
and developers of Chennai were up for grab by the potential buyers. Properties
were available in the affordable prices with plots ranging from Rs. 60,000,
individual homes from Rs. 8 lakhs onwards, and apartments from Rs. 15 lakhs
onwards.
The exhibition also had a free thrash out session on all the
days of event with the panel of industry experts that provided holistic
guidance on various issues starting from plan approval to building a new home
to interested visitors including NRIs and / or their kith and kin.
It is heartwarming to note the overwhelming response to the
maiden property show of Greater Chennai. Our endeavor will continue in the
coming years.
