The Tamil Nadu (TN)
Government has initiated plans to provide social infrastructure and upgrade
facilities in Maraimalai Nagar, a 2,000 acre satellite township on the GST Road
South of Chennai.
According to an official press release, the
Minister for Housing Mr. R. Vaithilingam reviewed the plans last week.
A 32-acre industrial
estate is being carved out at the township set up by the Chennai Metropolitan
Development Authority (CMDA).
