Sundaram Home Finance FY26 Net Profit up 15% at Rs. 282crores

Emerging Business Disbursement crosses milestone of Rs. 500 crores

 

Chennai, May 5, 2026: Sundaram Home Finance, the wholly owned subsidiary of Sundaram Finance Ltd., has registered a 15% rise in its net profit for the year ended 31^st March 2026 at Rs. 282crores as compared to Rs. 245crores registered in the same period the previous year. Disbursements for the year ended 31^st March 2026 went up 5% to Rs. 6842crores as compared to Rs. 6517crores registered in the corresponding period of the previous year.

 

AUM up 14% at Rs. 19909cr

Assets under Management registered a 14% rise at Rs. 19909crores as on 31^st March 2026 as compared to Rs. 17428crores as on 31^st March 2025.

 

Emerging Business crosses Rs. 500cr disbursement

The disbursements in the Emerging Business segment comprising of Affordable Housing finance and small ticket loans crossed the milestone of Rs. 500crores in FY26 and ended the year with Rs. 590crores compared to Rs. 229crores registered in the previous year. During the year, the company also crossed the milestone of 100 Emerging Business branches.

 

The company added over 500 employees and close to 5000 customers during the year.

Commenting on the performance, D. Lakshminarayanan, MD, Sundaram Home Finance said, “Our prime business continues to do well. The emerging business has expanded to Karnataka, Andhra and Telangana on the back of an established presence in TN. The emerging business segment saw a strong growth with its disbursements more than doubling in FY26. The contribution of this segment to the overall disbursements is now close to 10%. With our continued focus and expansion in this segment, we are confident of continuing the growth trajectory."

 

On the outlook for the year, Lakshminarayanan said, "In both the prime and the emerging business segment, we believe there are significant opportunities available in the mid-tier and smaller towns. Our expansion into new Tier 4 and 5 towns will drive our growth in the emerging business segment this year."
