Opportunity in India’s Growing Financial Sector: Canara Robeco Banking and
Financial Services Fund
VARADHARAJAN KR, KRV Investment Services
India’s
financial sector (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance – BFSI) has been
growing rapidly over the past few years. The way people save money, take loans,
invest, and make digital transactions is changing quickly. These developments
play an important role in the growth of India’s economy.
In line with
this growth, a new mutual fund called Canara
Robeco Banking and Financial Services Fund has been introduced.
This is an open-ended
equity scheme, which means investors can invest or withdraw
their money at any time. The fund primarily invests in banks, financial service
companies, and insurance companies.
In India,
digital banking services, UPI transactions, and access to financial services
are increasing rapidly. Because of this, the BFSI sector is expected to have
strong growth potential in the future.
