Mr. Vetri Subramaniam, MD & CEO, UTI Mutual Fund
UTI Asset Management Company has appointed Mr. Vetri
Subramaniam as its new Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
He will be replacing Mr. Imtaiyazur Rahman, who has
been leading UTI MF since 2018. The change in designation will be immediate,
according to a NSE corporate filing by the fund house.
Mr. Vetri Subramaniam joined UTI AMC in January
2017 as Head of Equity and became the Chief Investment Officer in August 2021.
He has over 3 decades of experience in the financial markets and has handled
multiple leadership roles in investment management.
Before joining UTI, Mr. Vetri Subramaniam was the
Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at Invesco Asset Management, where he helped set
up the company’s investment process and team. He also worked with Kotak
Mahindra, SSKI, and Motilal Oswal in various equity and research roles.
Mr. Vetri Subramaniam holds a Post Graduate Diploma
in Management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore.
