IRCTC Beware of spam calls/links, fake
WhatsApp messages and fraudulent apps
IRCTC would like to inform you that some fraudsters impersonating as
they are from IRCTC, are calling / sending spam links on WhatsApp to our
customers. These fraudsters also creating fraudulent apps and websites
impersonating IRCTC. These fake platforms may look very similar to our
legitimate services, but they are designed to deceive users and steal personal
information and money.
Your security is our top priority, and we are committed to safeguarding
your information. To ensure your safety, please take note of the following
guidelines:
1. Verify URLs: Always
ensure that you are visiting our official website. Our web address is: www.irctc.co.in.
Be cautious of any variations or misspellings in the URL.
2. Official Apps:
IRCTC does not share any unsolicited links, APKs, SMS or WhatsApp messages for
installing the IRCTC Rail Connect Ticketing App. Download our mobile
applications only from official app stores such as the Apple App Store and
Google Play Store.
3. Verify
Communications: Unsure if a message is really from us? Verify any communication
claiming to be from IRCTC by contacting us directly through our official
customer service channels.
4. Secure
Transactions: We never ask for sensitive details through unofficial channels.
Never share your personal or financial information through unsecured links or
platforms.
We are actively working to identify and take down these fraudulent
websites and apps. If you have any concerns about potential frauds or believe
you may have found a fraudulent app or website, please report immediately
