Once again, it’s time for Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam cinema to take center stage with SIIMA 2016 all set to thrill South Indian cinema fans across the globe. After creating a stir in the entertainment industry for the past 5 years across Dubai, Sharjah and Malaysia, SIIMA 2016 travels to Singapore this year promising an entertaining and glamorous extravaganza for all fans worldwide. However, SIIMA which has been successfully putting the South Indian industry on a global map seems to not have forgotten their die-hard fans in India.

Twitter is all set to provide the fans and viewers in India a live front row seat to the best of SIIMA 2016. While the much anticipated event will be held on 30^th June and 1^st July, fans will now get a chance to catch on the SIIMA extravaganza much earlier on this year #OnlyonTwitter. Kicking off the grand celebrations, 3 of the biggest superstars from South India - ShrutiHaasan (@shrutihaasan), AnirudhRavichander (@anirudhofficial) and Rana Daggubati (@RanaDaggubati) will come together for a special Q & A session with their fans on Twitter through #AskSIIMA.

South Indian cinema fans are all set for a major treat this week. From film choices to personal anecdotes, the leading voices of South Indian cinema will be answering a diverse range of questions sent by their fans on Twitter through special video Tweets LIVE on Friday, 6^th May, 12pm IST. Shruti, Anirudh and Rana will choose their favourite questions and answer them on @SIIMA. All fans need to do is Tweet their questions with #AskSIIMA and tag the Twitter handle of the filmstar the question is addressed to.

And that’s not all! Fans in India will also get a chance to be part of the SIIMA 2016 press conference organized in Singapore LIVE. @SIIMA will be live broadcasting the press conference on Periscope, giving fans a chance to witness all the action and their favourite celebrities real-time through their mobile phones.  On Periscope, users can not only watch their favourite stars, but also send them messages and express their love by tapping the screen to send hearts. To be a part of this live broadcast, all one needs to do is download the Periscope app on their mobile phones and follow @SIIMA.
