Paint to learn Animation courses at E-Magic studio

E-Magic studio, the Chennai based animation training academy has organized a painting competition for College students & professionals on 29^th May 2016 (Sunday), as a part of their animation learning initiatives for this year. The event will begin at 3 pm at their academy premises- No.78/103 Dr RK Salai, Mylapore (Opp: Hotel Clarion) and will be an ‘on-the-spot’ competition with No entry fee.

Eminent Cartoonist, Mr. Madhan will preside as Chief Guest and present the awards to the winners. A Seminar and live demo on the 3D animation will be presented by Dr Ezhil, Director, Emagic Studio.

Emagic Academy is training students on Autodesk Maya, Photoshop and Mud box with an insight to modeling, texturing, rendering, lighting and animation. The academy also puts forth its excellence in the visuals of an upcoming 3D animated film, Gamaya Legends.

Dr Ezhil Vendan, Director, Emagic Studio said, “We are so proud to work in the animated 3D series which involves revamping the visual language. We have made the characters and environments that constitute our rich heritage and literature (WITH) a more modern approach using the latest in technology”.

The academy will reward courses worth Rs 60,000 as prize to the winners and they will also be given an introduction to 3D modelling.

Each participant will be given a certificate at the end of the event.

Movie, “Mahiravana” would be screened on the occasion.

Exclusive screening of 'Mahiravana' - a 3d animation film, completely made at Emagic collaborating with the U.S. Based Gamaya Inc. it is an interesting tale from Indian mythology and employs a technical quality never before possible in Indian cinema.
