CII-SR Regional Emerging Entrepreneur Awards 2014 -15

Entrepreneurs shape economic destiny of nations by creating wealth and employment, offering products and services and generating taxes for government because of which entrepreneurship has closely been linked to economic growth of a country.

To recognise and celebrate the role models in entrepreneurship, CII had initiated the Emerging Entrepreneur Awards, in association with Hindu Business Line.  The award seeks to nurture, cherish and recognise first generation entrepreneurs from the South Indian States who have exhibited compelling potential to scale up to national and global players.

The 5th edition CII-SR Regional Emerging Entrepreneur Awards 2014-15 held on 17 March 2015 in Chennai, as part of the CII-SR Annual Regional Meeting.



About 270 nominations were received from entrepreneurs from all over India and out of which 6 successful emerging entrepreneurs adjudged as winners.

Dr. Prathap C Reddy, Chairman, Apollo Hospitals Group hadthe Chief Guest at the Award Ceremony and gave away the awards to the winners.
