The
11th edition of the
popular Air India Tourism Quiz will be held on Saturday, 27th September 2014 at the Radisson BLU
Resort Temple Bay, Mamallapuram.
The Tourism Quiz is always timed to coincide
with the UN World Tourism Day (UNWTO) Celebrations which are also on the same
day around the world.
Air India is
sponsoring flight tickets worth about Rs. 4 Lakh. The first prize winning team
gets to fly on Air India to London for two. The second prize winning team flies
to Paris and the third prize winning team to Rome. All the winning
teams get to stay for 3 nights & 4 days at the respective cities, which
being organized by Asia Pacific Tours in a 4 star hotel .
Air India
sources said that ‘The Corporate Tourism Quiz is being organized every year in
connection with the World Tourism Day Celebrations. The three winning teams
will win 2 return tickets to London, Paris and Rome respectively on Air India.
Last year we had over 120 teams participating. This time we expect a few more
teams than what we had last year’.
To
participate in the contest, each Corporate can nominate a maximum of two teams
with two members each. The teams can register themselves at www.asiapacifictours.in . The teams will be registered on
submitting an authorization letter from the HR team of the Corporate. The last
date for registration closes on Wednesday, 25th September, 2014 at 6 pm. The Tourism
Minister of Puducherry, Mr. Rajavelu will distribute the prizes at 5 pm on
the same day.

unique programme which Asia Pacific Tours has been organizing every year for
the past 4 years for Chennaites in connection with the World Tourism Day
Celebrations. The event is also powered by Pondicherry Tourism and supported by
Visit England and Luxury Hotels Group. The event has become so popular among
the Corporates, that teams from Bangalore and other southern cities like Vizag
as well, have registered to participate this year. The competition will start
at 9.30 am with an inauguration and end at 5 pm with
Prize distribution ceremony. The major focus of the quiz will be on World
Tourism’.
