Cholamandalam MS General Insurance, a joint venture between the Murugappa Group & Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group Japan, says the premium for the policy does not increase with age (up to 70 years), which makes it the only policy in the market to offer such a benefit.
Besides, there are no sub-limits for 30 days prior & 60 days post hospitalisation expenses.
The policy covers 141 day-care procedures which require less than 24 hours hospitalisation.
It offers lifetime renewal and tax exemption under Section 80 (D) up to Rs 15, 000/ Rs. 20.000, says a release from the company.
