FDI IN INDIAN REAL ESTATE SECTOR : 2012 -13 stood at USD 133.20

FDI inflows in Construction sector for  2012 -13 stood at USD 133.20  crore as against USD 314.10  crore during  2011-12.

Despite the decline in FDI amount, the share of the total FDI inflow in construction, real estate &  housing sector grew from 6 % of cumulative inflow till 2011-12 to 11 % of cumulative inflow till 2012-13.


As per the data available from DIPP (Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, India), Q1 2013 witnessed inflow of USD 24.50 crore whereas month of April of Q2 2013 witnessed entry of USD 3.20 crore in construction, real Estate & housing sector.
