As Mahendra
Singh Dhoni's career took a big leap, his business interests widened
significantly. Perhaps to manage his growing empire Dhoni entrusted his wife
Ms. Sakshi to enter into joint ventures with some companies.
The Ministry
of Corporate Affairs website reveals a clutch of companies where Ms. Sakshi
Dhoni is a director.
In one case,
Ms. Sakshi holds 25 % stake in a joint venture with real estate firm Amrapali.
The joint venture - Amrapali Mahi Developers Private Ltd - uses the nickname of
the Indian cricket captain.
Mahendra
Singh Dhoni is a brand ambassador for
Amrapali and is a key figure in their advertisements for residential properties
of the group. Dhoni also figures prominently in the home page of the real
estate company.
