LIC Housing Finance
Ltd (LIC HFL)has elevated Mr. V.K. Sharma to the post of Managing Director
& CEO of the company in the capacity of whole time Executive Director with
effect from March 19, 2013.
Prior to this, Mr.
Sharma was Director and Chief Executive at LIC Housing Finance Ltd.

Mr. Sharma joined LIC
of India as direct recruit officer in 1981 and has held many important
positions in his career spanning almost 3 decades in all the Zones of LIC of
India in both administration and marketing areas.
He also headed
Pension and Group Schemes portfolio of LIC of India as Executive Director
between 2007 and 2009. Prior to his appointment as Director & Chief
Executive of LIC Housing Finance Limited in 2010, Mr. Sharma was the Zonal
Manager of the South Zone of LIC of India.
