The south central zone ( Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka), LIC (Life Insurance Corporation of India) will be recruiting 1 lakh agents to give a push to its growth targets set for the current 2011 - 12 financial year.
The new recruits would take the total strength of LIC’s agents to 15 lakh on an all-India basis.
The LIC agent attrition rate is currently at 15 to 20% per cent nationally.
